Questions

About spinner rings.

What is a spinner ring?

A spinner ring is a wide band with one or more narrower bands riding in a channel on its outside. The outer bands turn freely with your thumb while the base band stays put on the finger. Ours have between one and three moving bands.

What is the difference between a spinner ring and a fidget ring?

Nothing. They're two names for the same object. Spinner ring describes what it does, fidget ring describes how it's used, and you'll also see worry ring and meditation ring used for the same design. We call ours spinner rings.

Do the bands actually turn?

Yes. Each outer band is a separate loose piece, not a groove cut into a solid ring. You can roll them with the thumb of the same hand, or pinch and turn them with the other hand. Turn one and the others stay where they are.

Which finger do you wear a spinner ring on?

Most people wear one on the index or middle finger, because those are easiest to reach with the thumb of the same hand. That matters for sizing: index and middle fingers are usually a size or two larger than the ring finger, so measure the finger you will actually wear it on.

Can you wear more than one?

Most people do. Two or three on the same hand is the usual way, one to turn and the others sitting against it.

What if my size isn't in the first run?

The first run comes in four sizes, EU 52 to 60 (US 6 to 9). Fingers vary more than people expect, and the index and middle fingers usually measure larger than the ring finger, so measure the finger you'll wear it on with the size guide. If you come out above EU 60, this first run won't fit, and we'd rather tell you now than after you order.

Can a spinner ring be resized?

No. A jeweller resizes an ordinary ring by cutting the band and adding or removing metal. On a spinner ring the outer bands are closed loops made to fit the base band, so changing the base would leave them the wrong size. That's why we'd rather you exchanged it than had it altered.

Is it Tranquillity or Tranquility?

Tranquillity, with two l's. Plenty of people write it with one, and a fair few of our own customers do, so if you found us that way you are in the right place.
